Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEEs) for Air Discharges
Resource Consents for Air Discharges
Air quality issues in the rural environment are predominantly associated with the discharge of animal effluents or waste by-products to land that can generate potential aerosol and odour issues. In most cases, any potential adverse effects from these air discharges can be effectively mitigated and obtaining resource consent is a relatively straight forward exercise.
However air discharges close to residential areas can be more problematic. In these situations EMG's associates can provide the neccessary technical assistance to model likely effects, and where required identify the required mitigation options neccessary for consent procurement.
